10 Billion Android Market downloads and counting!

Google announced today that over ten billion apps have been downloaded from the Android Market.

Google claims that while the first 1 billion app installs from Android Market took nearly 20 months and the second billion took five months, the third billion took only 2 months. More than half a million new Android phones are now activated globally every day.

In celebration of crossing the ten billion mark, ten apps will be available for only a dime each day for the next ten days. See the current list of Apps being offered by using the following link:
